CERTIFICATION
The Healthy Sports Organisations certificate is a practical and unique tool that validates a healthy workplace and is the first one focused internally on the health and wellbeing of employees.
Sports Organisation will need to have achieved a minimum level of services when completing the Organisation Audit.
Certification is an effective instrument to measure progress based on objective metrics. It sets clear and transparent standards of performance and allows organisations to achieve their employee health related goals in a sustainable way.
Process to become Certified
PHASE 1: 10 WEEKS
Step 1: HSO sends employees survey to the SO (Analyse).
Step 2: HSO conducts audit with the SO (Assess).
*Dates can be adapted to the needs of the SO
PHASE 2: 2 TO 9 MONTHS
Step 1: Analysis: HSO discuss the survey and audit results with the SO and provides advice on the possible options (ranking of priorities).
Step 2: Action Plan: HSO presents the Action Plan tailored to the SO. SO implements the action plan with the support of HSO.
CERTIFICATION
Review of audit and criteria points to obtain the certification level.
The SO based on the Audit (Phase 1 – Step 2) will address the missing points either with the support of HSO or making the adjustments and changes internally.
Certified
Approval from the Ethics Committee of the University of Granada.
Sports Science methodology that follows the recommendations of the World Health Organisation guidelines on physical activity and sedentary behaviour.
Review and Oversight of Certification Process by the Healthy Sports Organisations Advisory Board.
